SHIPPING POLICY Please read before placing your order
Due to the suspension of DHL domestic service in the U.S., Impact has changed to UPS for both our international and domestic customers. If you have any issues or concerns with your order, please contact us
ALL ORDERS can take from 3 to 5 working days to ship from the Pilot Resource Store. Then shipping times (2nd Day Air, etc) is the time it takes UPS from their pickup to delivery, not from our receipt of the order. So combine these two times to obtain a realistic delivery time.
At Impact, we are all pilots, therefore have schedules like your own. You will automatically receive an order confirmation at the email you enter on your order. So please do not call to ask if we got your order. If you get the email, we got the order.
LIMITATION for Expedited Shipping:
IF you request Overnight or 2nd Day Air, be aware that all Item codes that start with the letters "AV" must be obtained from the manufacturer. This automatically delays shipment 2 to 4 days.
Expedited Shipment Customer Requirement
Your request for expedited shipment will NOT be honored unless,
after placing the order, you send a separate email providing:
1 - Your name and order number, and
2 - Stating you have read this policy and accept the limitations we have outlined.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - International Shipments

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE...
All taxes and duty charged by Customs in your country is the responsibility of you, the customer.
- Duties are unique for each country and item.
- Neither Impact Ink nor UPS can provide an estimated charge for you ahead of time. We do not have access to that information.

Most countries do not charge duties for books (known exceptions of Canada, Switzerland and Mexico). However, almost all countries charge for any type of poster, computer software or DVD.

Many countries, specifically those in Latin America, require a Tax ID Number. We will not ask you for this information on our website. However, we encourage you to set up a personal or company account with UPS, including your Tax ID. This will prevent delays in receiving your order and country-specific "charges for storage."
In some cases, duties are equal to or exceed the cost of the item! Duty is charged whether you accept the package or not.
Please check with your country prior to ordering and importing items to determine duties on the items you are ordering.
Please be aware that we do not provide refunds for packages that are refused because of duty charges and/or your failure to read this policy.
Additionally, you are responsible for return shipping plus all other charges incurred by Impact because of your refusal.
Your failure to adhere to this information does not relieve you of resulting charges. |
Selecting a Shipping Method
(All customer must select both a STATE and COUNTRY.
INTERNATIONAL customers must select "Other (No State)" in the State field.).
If you fail to do this, your order will not be completed.

Be sure to check with UPS in your area to see if you live in an
"EXTENDED SERVICE AREA".
These are rural areas for which UPS adds a service fee for delivery ($20.00 additional or more). This charge alone can be rather expensive. If you live in one of these areas, we recommend that you provide a delivery address that falls within the normal UPS delivery. Enter that address in the Ship to address on your order form. |
The shipping amount on your Invoice is approximate. Prior to shipment, the amount shown will be adjusted for the Weight and Zone (Country) to which the order is shipped. The final amount charged to your credit card may vary slightly (more or less). This is especially true for International customers.
If you want an approximate shipping cost prior to ordering, please go to the UPS web site, then on their shipping page, enter 80134 as the zip code of origin and then the name of your country.
All taxes and duty charged by Customs is the responsibility of the customer.

Can you ship to a hotel?
Yes, but again, with a proviso. Your room number MUST be included with the address. We also strongly suggest that you get a Manager involved re the "expected arrival of a very important package." This seems to motivate the front desk folks to be a little more careful.
Your items will always be shipped UPS Ground (exception for Alaska and Hawaii) unless a different service is selected in the Shopping Cart (no USPS). You are not charged for an order until it is shipped.
In order to provide better service to our valued customers and because of the high loss rate incurred when using the US Postal Service, Impact Ink, LLC now uses UPS exclusively as our shipping contractor for both domestic and international orders.
