new features and now you get them - and for
less! You thought the previous guide (the P.I.) was good. Well, The new Systems Guide gives you more in spades PLUS is cross referenced to a brand new
Systems Oral Review DVD.
Now, your Study Guide comes in a protective binder. Gouges are marked with a blue u diamond so you spot them quickly. Limits are in red. A319 differences are marked with a green arrow so they are easy to spot.
There are lots of real oral questions on Systems, Flight Control Laws, the PFD / ND, FMA explanations and more.
Enter The Professional Pilot's A319 / 320 Systems Guide by Impact.
This technology required a new kind of systems guide, something us Boeing drivers (and even 'Bus drivers) could sink our teeth into. Instead of the old "light-by-light...", you now need to understand "protection levels" and "ECAM" stuff. Just like good old McD, the AB boys are not exactly what you would call "information masters."
Finding information is a snap. The Table of Contents takes you quickly to the appropriate panel under scrutiny or provided on each of the 3 foldout panels is a second method of finding panel locations with the color graphical index. Either way, you arrive at the desired panel and information, quickly!
Once you arrive at the desired page, you will find a labeled table which quickly and concisely provides both the operational function and meaning of every switch, light, gauge or button on that panel. But before going further, you need the panel in front of you so you can correlate in your mind the location and look of what you are reading about. Simply find the foldout in that section, pull it out, and you have the full panel graphic right in front of you while you are reading. You reinforce your learning by seeing.
Right below the labeled table are the oral questions. These are real questions from real airline system orals on that panel. No fluff! Finally, below the numbered questions, you find added paragraphs. These provide added information and insight into the same panel you are studying.
Then, when you think it's all over, you get to the Supplements sections. Here, diagrams, graphs, color PFD, ND and FMA pages cover details that your "friendly" examiner thinks are really important
PLUS, there is tons of "white space" for your own personal notes.
Supplement Sections
In the Supplement Sections is more information with their own oral questions on specific subjects such as Flight Control Laws and Protections, the PFD, ND, FMAs and more, covering every oral question we have ever heard. We even have a color PFD, ND and FMA page to help you "see" exactly what you're being asked about.
But there's more.
Included are 10 (ten) color pages with high resolution graphics of aircraft systems.
Better still, these system pages include the associated Cockpit Panel and the ECAM page display. Talk about understanding and retention, this is the best on the market.
AND, there's STILL MORE!
Updates/Revision pages ain't what they used to be!
Instead, there is now what we are calling "Flex-Entry". So what's that? Click on our Customer Service link at the top of the page for a full explanation.
